2,465 is the North American version and is still fairly light for a modern car.

I've been in both a MX-5 and a 4C and they couldn't be any further apart as far as performance goes. @Braces is right, the car was designed to do one thing "Rock your world" That's it. And it does it VERY well.

If anyone wants one they'd better get one now. These will become a collectors item, I'm sure.
