That's good news then. I'd replace the belt and see if any other problems arise, good chance that will correct the issue entirely. While you're replacing the belt give each pulley a wiggle and a tug to make sure it doesn't have any play and it spins true - anything short of perfect you should have a mechanic look at and get an informed opinion.
