I originally swapped the OEM filter for a HKS and then when I had the tune done to balance the changes (header, OP and front pipe) I went for the Takeda CAI.
The sound tube was left plumbed in but blocked at the CAI end. As for impressions, the car revs more cleanly/freely, it's smooth through the rev range and over 4k(ish) I can hear the intake but it's not as intrusive as the OEM with the sound thingy.
I'm very happy with the setup, the CAI looks great, not blingy but subtle.. almost looks OEM.
