Installed NRG hub SRK-125H and NRG Steering wheel RST-036MB-S-SL. Steering wheel is very nice. I know NRG makes some crap but not this one very nice dark black suede and very strong and sturdy. Nice silver stitching to go with 17' interior.

Only a 2.25 lb weight loss from the 17' steering wheel.

Actually the stock wheel is nice size & weight with airbags and controls. I may switch back at some point. Had some free amazon bucks some this didn't cost me anything and its really nice wheel and hub.

I'm not showing how to remove the stock wheel as there are tutorials floating around on how to do that. Removing the airbag on the 17's was hard to find the removal push points, had to turn the steering wheel upsidedown as the turnsignal stalk blocks the view.
Also taped down that clockspring while I was working as it spins very easily once the stock wheel is removed. Be Careful

Stock wheel weight 6lbs

NRG wheel and hub 3.75lbs

Point of reference- I had to cut and splice the stock airbag wires. There was no way to get the connectors through the hub hole

One thing I don't like is the stock steering wheel hid this on the bottom of the steering shaft cover, now its exposed. I thing I can take off this cover and wrap in alcantara and cover up that exposed area.

After some crafty wire tucking got everything to fit. BARELY

NEW WEIGHT AFTER TODAY = 2526.25 lbs
