There are some nagging flaws in execution that I find extremely annoying.
1. The filter mount is supposed to also act as the divider between the clean and dirty sides of the airbox. Unfortunately, the seal quickly falls apart allowing LOTS of dirty air through. The first time I saw one, I was shocked to see the condition of the leading edge of the compressor blades.
2. The bellows/boot that joins the airbox to the compressor is unbelievably lame. The business side of the hose clamp included with the kit interferes with the folded pattern of the boot. Actually scrubs against it.
3. The pipe just upstream of the throttle body rubs against the alternator bracket.
On the other hand, I agree that they nailed it both aesthetically, and I hope with their wet sump planetary gearbox. I don't know how well they hold up long term but I want the design to be as stout as it looks. Gorgeous.
