Not sure if the trims actually make much of a difference.

I had a 2006 Corolla XRS for 9 years and after I rear ended someone (right off a stop light so it wasn't anywhere near hard enough to deploy airbags, but hard enough to cause damage).

Damaged the front end, and it was actually written off for around 6600 dollars (I think the repair cost more than the car's worth at this point) The amount I got was actually more than I thought I would get (I was expecting around 5k or less)

Im hoping the resale of the twins would be as good as this but I don't think it will be. Im not sure how the release series changes the resale either. My Corolla was the XRS trim, only available for 2 years and only available in stick. It didn't seem to do much of anything to the resale. Then again the XRS trim does show up in those black book/blue book listings so any additional value is probably already taken into account.
When I look for the Scion FRS it only shows up as "base" trim.
