I think I'm buying a BRZ in the nearish future. I'm thinking I want the performance pack specifically for the brembos. I could see myself putting MCS coilovers on the car down the road because I had AST on my track miata in the past and loved them. AST became MCS, is that right?

Any way, I'm thinking I'd like to have the brembos for the track. Is there any reason I don't want them? The possible reasons I can think of would be:

1) they limit wheel selection (but I think I'm happy with the stock wheels, I'd be putting something like an RS3 on the car at some point).

2) I assume there are good pad choices for street and track? I'd likely change out pads for track events (I only plan on dong 1-2 events a year).
