The Conti's are awesome.
I had them on my old 06 Corolla XRS (ironically they also came with Primacy summers back then). Yeah they're softer and more comfortable because of it (you could pump in a bit more air pressure to stiffen them up some) they grip well and are good in the wet stuff. I had the DWS version and its snow handling was terrific for an A/S tire.

I actually use the DWS 06 on my X1 right now (I live in a snowy city, and my BMW came with summer run flats so I needed something to deal with snow).
