A light flywheel will not change the pedal feel. It simply reduces rotating mass so the engine revves up and down faster.

The cover comes with a seal which you have to press in. Then it just bolts on. The part number I linked to includes the seal. I didn't replace this part when I did mine but the next time I am in there I think I will. You may need to get creative to press the seal in without damaging it. The most important part is to go slow and keep it completely square.
