With your shorai battery what is the longest you have gone without driving or being hooked up to the charger? After I get my pulleys in that’s prob next mod if I go that route. But sometimes I don’t drive car for days at a time.

Did you ever swap out steering wheel I think stock is 7lbs? And there are roughly 3lbs ones I think? Hard to find weights on aftermarket ones.

You see Anthony’s build? Anthony’s 4 steps to weight reduction. Dude went all out dropped 400lbs. His car is 22xx lbs.
With the spare tire removed the slime/pump kit is just kinda tucked under the back passenger corner near the taillight. I have 2 pillows in place of the spare and I still kept the spare tire lid. Even with weight reduction the car is still functional enough to haul groceries! The pillows help support the lid and also keep the noise down without adding weight.

The car has easily gone 5 days, started while parked in the airport no problem. Can probably go longer. I keep that cellphone looking jumper about 1lb in the glovebox just in case.

Yes steering wheel is on the list after I decide on seats with buddy club mounts. I've narrowed it down to 2 options

1.Cheaper route NRG CF seats 13lbs and NRG steering wheel

2. More expensive Route Sparco QRT-R (9.9lb shell probably close to 13lbs with cushions) and Sparco - L777 Steering wheel

https://www.carid.com/sparco/l777-pi...ing-wheel.html

Order of operations is getting ACE headers in next weekend and getting the tune dial in with Delicious.
After that I will decide on which route to go with the seats. Either option with Buddy club sliders will save me 17-21lbs per seat. Should be enough to get me right at 2500lbs.

Steering wheel will be last as I do like the '17 smaller wheel. If I do steering wheel I will also do the remaining airbags (roof, Passenger) total should give me another 10-15lbs MASS reduction.

Have read Anthonys thread many times and its a great inspiration that small pieces can really add up in the end. However I will never go as far as stripping out the whole interior and that exhaust is ridiculously loud. Appearance wise my car will still look stockish to the naked eye and be daily driveable.

I know after the seats get me to 2500lbs the next 50lbs will be difficult.
I can get to 2450 by
1. Steering wheel, total airbag removal
2. Working on lighter rear brake kit similar to the wildwood one I have upfront, possibly at expense of loosing E-brake (but seen Wilwood sells a small ebrake caliper at 6lbs)
3.Going a little lighter on the exhaust. ACE headers will already give me 5 less lbs upfront compared to the gruppe-S. And my HKS legamax is only 1 lbs lighter than stock. Really considering that HKS Spec-L. I will have to see how everything sounds with the new headers.

Also did more research on sway bars.
Cusco Fr 16mm, Rear 14mm will be lighter just from being smaller but I Don't know how much.
Tanabe will get you larger without any much weight at all. FR 22mm will gain you .5lbs , R 18mm will gain .25lbs because they are hollow. Weight source found here:

Basically not much to lose here will leave stock for now. But would go Tanabe if I want to get stiffer without gaining weight

Man I can spend hours talking and researching weight reduction. I was whipping the 86 to work today and the response & quickness is Amazing! Excited that I can still get another ~90lbs out of this thing and make it even better. My C5 at ~3250 lbs is starting to feel like a pig
