Is the CAN BUS in the FRS different from the GT86?

Considering changing to a Syvecs ECU (it will facilitate other mods that I'd rather not go into right now) but they only have a GT86 ECU coming out. Apparently the FRS and 86 ECU is identical. If the CAN BUS is different I might have to reconsider.
