Been thinking about getting the mishimoto fan shroud says 7.5lbs at 2300CFM. Figure if i do underdrive water pump pulley maybe upgrading fan shroud would balance out the cooling a little bit, and bonus weight reduction?

That's exactly what I was thinking of. I forum member is supposed to weigh stock setup before installing his mishimoto fan. He hasn't got back to me yet.
Not expecting much but if its 3-5lbs then its worth the +$200 bucks to me along with better cooling and an inch more space up front'
Also we found that the Drivers side fan is the extra fan for AC equipped cars. So for someone like me who has removed my AC I could either
A. Keep stock fan shroud and remove drivers side motor+fan
B. Go Mishimoto but only use the passenger side fan
either way it will remove weight from the heaviest part of the car (driver side front)
