really interested in this weight reduction mod, but not if its potentially dangerous or a pain to maintain the batter.
hmm haven't heard of issues in a car itself. I think those issue are when you use and outside car charger that pushes a lot of amps. That's why most recommend the shorai charger for it.

Me I'm cheap and use this harborfrieght tender that only pushes .5 amps

Kept mine happy all winter!!

I still don't understand why people are stressing out about changing the battery for the winter. You literally unbolt the + and - terminal, then loosen the tie down, lift battery out. Damn some people are lazy
