FI is simplest way to change weight/power ratio. And if going for light gains kits, one can get by without too big of spendings in way of forged engine internals/better gearbox and other bits in transmission and alikes. NA has it's niche, but gains in it are expensive, made relatively affordable only due rather low max gains limit.

Reminds me of back-in-the-day, I went into partnership with two other kids and we bought a 1937 Chevrolet pickup truck. Yep, we paid $75 for it and it ran (after we put tires and a battery on/in it).
My partners lived in town and I lived on a farm. One weekend "they" decided to cut the bed off the truck, so it would be lighter and faster in a 1/4 mile drag. Which it did do that.
HOWEVER, I was the one who lived on a farm … and now the damn truck couldn't haul anything ..
