My argument is that there isn't a lighter 4 seat RWD car out there than the twins. One of the main reasons the Miata is lighter is because it's so tiny. The wheelbase on the BRZ is 10 inches longer. The Miata is a bit lower and narrower, and just over 12 inches shorter.

Mazda probably will never make a 2+2 Miata (I wish they would), but if they did, I'd bet the weight would be similar to the BRZ
