NARFALICIOUS CVTs shouldn't 'shift' they should keep the engine at the optimum rpm for the task. The Honda supposedly works well in 'S' mode for performance driving.
The kind of performance I'm interested in I'm not comfortable exploring on public roads, ultimately the nicer road trip car will likely win out, performance will be secondary.
