The better question is do other Subarus have this, since this is still mostly a Subie.
That being said, there are always oddities. My '87 Celica had auto-off headlights (they turned off when you opened the door). I've never been able to figure out why that functionality disappeared for twenty or so years on most cars except luxury models - to include this one.
At least it beeps at you if your lights are still on.
