Maybe it depends on the battery. My OEM battery was a turd. Two weeks was about the max you could leave it sitting and be able to count on it starting.

And yes, I'm sure it was the battery. I have a Duracell AGM in it now, and the problem is gone. My engine also used to stumble when I turned the lights on (from the first week I had it). I though it was just a quirk of the car, but that issue has stopped with the new battery as well. It amazes me that Subaru would ship the cars with such a piece of crap in it.
