On a side note ... while picking up a part at a Toyota dealership I inquired what they charge to program a key. I was asked if it was an OEM key and when told no - their reply was they can not do it. They stated I would have to spend the inflated price to buy a OEM key / key fob or replace the vehicles on board computer to one that will work with generic keys / key fobs. I guess the high profit they make programming is not enough for them

Blatant misinformation, I used tech stream and a cut key to make a flip key for my car. I'd follow the video guide someone posted earlier and get techstream and a good techstream cable to do it yourself
