I fully understand the concept that buying a new car is not an investment but actually a depreciating asset.
I do not expect to buy things at the very bottom dollar and sell them for the very top.
If trading in I appreciate that the dealer has to make some money on it somehow so don't expect retail used car value.
There are 4 model years released after mine, each with incremental improvements so why would I expect mine to be the same value?
If I were forced by circumstances to sell quickly I would know that is going to cost me sice the lower the price the faster it would go.
