Either way it seems to “protect” the engine from harmonics better then stock which seems beneficial if you are modded. Stock I think is 5.1lbs?

The DSS driveshaft is 2.75” diameter 12.1lbs, havnt found stock driveshaft specs from looking at it today (forgot to measure it...) it looks 2.75” for 2/3rds then the joint then 3” for 1/3rd of the driveshaft and 24.2lbs?

Assuming a 200 crank hp 170 whp 15% drivetrain loss. What % if any of that is the driveshaft and does lightening it reduce the loss?
The protection of a more harmonic crank pulley is probably good, but probably makes no performance difference. The rest would probably make the same performance difference as taking a big shit before driving.

I have a carbon drive shaft and I only noticed the smoothness difference from the 2 piece. I could feel the vibration with the 2 piece before it planed out.
