I usually just shift around 2200-2500 so it rebounds me back somewhere near 1900 when im just putting around with it. Although, I'd usually put the car into upper gears sooner which I supposed "lugged" the engine and I didn't realize it was bad for it. Welp, lesson learned  Car feels fast enough for me though. Not to be ah tellen you how to drive your car ……. but, you may consider spinning that puppy up a few more RPMs before shifting. Even ol grandpa humfrz spins his up to about 4,000 before shifting ……
