The non resonated pipe is pretty quiet if tightened properly. There have been a few reports of loud systems turning out to be loose bands or bolts.

Old ass thread but I have the same droning issue around 1.5-3k rpm. I just jacked it back up today to undo and re tighten everything. A bit of water coming out of fp and mid pipe connection but no air leaks. The tips are also poking out on the left side (drivers side) and not on the passenger. Any suggestions?
