To the owners: any truth to this? Thoughts? I'm mostly asking because I was frankly underwhelmed after riding in two C38 JRSC cars. Once on the street and once in autocross. The videos above kind of reminded me of the way I felt after riding in the cars.
The power band is super linear with JRSC compared to stock. Check the dyno charts in this thread. The power starts building up almost the same way with stock as RPM increases up to 2000 rpm. But it does not dip around 3000-4000 rpm. Power difference and acceleration after 5000 RPM is unbelievable compared to stock. It is almost ridiculous to try that power on the public roads. The first video is in Utah and at that elevation both engines are suffering. The other guys are just kids looking for instant torque of a muscle car. If you are expecting instant torque like them, you will feel the same. If you want to drive like this is a sports car, there is big difference. +100 hp is there if you know how to extract it.
