Don't get 245/40 or 255/40. They have to large of a diameter. Get 245/35 or 255/35; they will fit better and will keep your speedo accurate. 245/35/18 is stock diameter. You could run 245/35 front and 255/35 rear also if you wanted.
you can 255/35 up front too because hes going to get coilovers.
