Would 245 or 255 40 18 work with no rubbing issues ?

a 40 sidewall on an 18 inch is going to have a fitment issues a good bit of the time I'm on 18x9.5 +38 with a 255/35 tire and i think its the best fitment with no rubbing anywhere. if you dont mind rubbing then go 265/35
