Well, now, Tal, you may be stupid ...... but, that's OK ....... we have several "stupid" members.

Suggestions:

Plan A - if the car is still under warranty, take it into the dealer.

Plan B - erase the code, maybe you will get lucky and it won't come back.

Plan C - disconnect the battery for a minute or so, then reconnect.

Plan D - follow the link given in @Ultramaroon 's post.

Plan E - take it to an auto shop or the dealer and tell them your car is all messed up and you want them to fix it.
