It matters more the lower you are, the more aggressive size you run, and the more aggressive you use your car (track/drift/street "race")
Even with the same specs, someone cruising to cars and coffee and going to the KFC drive through will be fine where as the guy auto crossing every weekend will be in a world of hurt.

the reason i asked is cuz im getting the wheels (18 9.5 5x100) custom ordered. they want to know what offset i want. I was advised to have it between 35 - 45 for my car. Im just confused as to the specific offset number i need to give to get the order. at the moment im thinking 38 but any direction with this would help.
