Current Sonata and Accent look much more exciting. I'd much rather have one of those over the Accord or Camry and Civic or Corolla. Take the badges off and take everything into consideration, it's easy to see the appeal of the Hyundai imo.
Hyundai has made some gutsy moves in the recent years and deserves the recognition.

the accent maybe an original design but everything else is a rip off of a Honda/Acura or a Toyota, ESPECIALLY Lexus. Dear god the, Equus is a total LS wannabe and the Sonata is like a mutated TSX from the back. They want to beat Toyota/Lexus by being what Toyota/Lexus is/was high quality for lower price. I mean yes Hyundai isn't the worst anymore but im sorry you will never be in the same tier as Lexus/BMW/Mercedes i consider them toyota/honda level.
an yeah it's possible they arent sure how the ft-86 will do in the US, if successful they may scrap it from Scion and put it in Toyota...heck they may even scrap scion completely.
