What ever happened to just figuring out what the problem is (if there is one) ..??

Let's start ..... it's an internal combustion gasoline engine.

It needs ...... fuel, air, compression and spark to run.

So, what is missing or not delivered properly ......??

Now, back-in-the-day ......... oh, never mind ......

Was easy when a simple carburetor provided fuel and air and the spark consisted of 4 main components. Now it is all so complex it needs a computer to run it. Just transpose two numbers in a line of code and the engine just won't work.
