Humm I think maybe they got the notion that the Nurburgring would give them accelerated trend data for street tuning in the shortest amount of time, due to the sheer number of different corners and elevation changes in just one lap. I once read on Evo magazine that 3 hot laps around the ring would enable the suspension to experience the wear of a decade's worth in a normally driven average road car.  |
I made this comment more than a year ago? Yes they focus on better road performance, it is just not tested on the Nurburgring to post times ...
