In cold yet above freezing weather I would recommend Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ instead of Pilot Sport 4/S since the all seasons won't require as much time to heat up for decent grip. Isn't Pilot Super Sport discontinued?

it is as the re-003 is a japan only tire.
It is so much better to run winter & summer wheels. Winter tires can easily be run up to 60 degrees and summer tires are so much better for the rest of the year. And if you keep them on an extra set of wheels you can always change them out if the weather does something unexpected.
