My 50th came in a few days ago to the dealership, and I picked it up yesterday!
My visit to the dealership was also the first time I got to see the color in person. It is definitely something to check out if you have the chance.
The color is very deceptive. The color has such a wide range; the last factory color that reminds me of this phenomenon is Plasma Blue Pearl. It goes to a near-pastel look in sunlight which looks really great, and in certain lighting (parking garage) you have to really look to even realize the car is blue (I don't have a good picture, but the car can pass off as grey in certain low light). I'm digging it, the car definitely stands out in a different way.
Edit: One thing to note... Subaru doesn't make note of this in any way and it's hard to tell, but the 50th wheels are indeed different from a regular PP in regards to color. This bothered me at the beginning, seeing as how the other models were getting special silver finishes for the wheels while the BRZ was left out. However, I was showing the car to my cousin and his girlfriend last night and comparing it to her Pure Red PP. While not "Satin Chrome," the 50th wheels are of a lighter finish. It's odd that even on the window sticker the wheels are called the same thing. I'm happy with this, though.
