I drove a RX7 in the 80's and I've still never heard of it...I thought the new wave of Japanese cars was the newest greatest thing! British cars did nothing for me. They were well known to be unreliable.

I didn't watch any of the things you mentioned either. I must have been too busy driving! TV was VERY boring back then...It's not any better now lol
