ALl kits can have the same issues and downsides if you do not understand how forced induction works or how to support it with other modifications ( fuel, clutch, your gas pedal, etc). A $10,000 assortment of parts can have the same reliability as a $3,000 kit. At this stage, as long as it's not ebay, generally anything will have decent quality enough if you can use it appropriately.
