I have a 2014 BRZ with all the factory mirrors and have no blind spots because I set up my mirror angles correctly. The setup is that as soon as a car cannot be seen in my rear view mirror, it starts appearing in my side view mirror, which is also where the blind spot would be if not setup correctly.
The down side is that it's difficult to parallel park and reverse with the mirrors setup that way, because you can't see the lane/curb through the mirrors without moving them again.
