Yep the catalog says "not applicable to Limited with Performance Package", which is very puzzling.

People have paired various aftermarket lowering springs e.g. Eibach, JDM STI pinks that were originally designed for 2013-2016 stock shocks with their 2017+ PP Sachs dampers. I haven't heard of any fitment, handling, or ride quality issues with the Sachs dampers when paired with lowering springs.

I looked up several major lowering spring manufacturers Swift, Eibach, Racecomp, all of which list the same PNs for the BRZ throughout all production years with no differentiation for the Sachs dampers. In fact, I emailed Swift and they confirmed that their sport springs will fit and work with the Sachs dampers.

Also it's interesting that there is 2 part numbers for the USDM STI springs, one for MT and one for AT. Is it safe to assume that STI took their time to develop the springs and paid attention to detail?

If anyone could shed some light on this "not applicable" disclaimer in Subaru's accessories catalog, that would be very helpful and appreciated.
