I can confirm that the V1 is very loud with a catless header (In my case, a Borla UEL V1). I had to add a vibrant resonator to make my FR-S more bearable as a daily, but it sounded mean and aggressive when you went WOT.
I'm probably going to only get a Corsa exhaust and call it done for my Kouki BRZ.
FYI:
Cold starts got annoying until I did a "cold start" OFT tune.
