I never said they are track tires. However there are people on here that use them and track their vehicle because they don't want to buy track only wheels and tires.
The only time you could possibly tell the difference between MPSS and its top competitors is either by mounting them back to back, or using them on a track as tirerack does to test them. That is what I said.
I agree 100% that I'd never use MPSS or any other max performance summer tire as a dedicated autocross or track tire.
