The new TMG cars are favoring the 4.3 fd ratio with an additional change of the 6th gear to a shorter ratio. Before this change they were favoring the 3.767 fd. They were doing a special car import from Toyota Japan and one reason was this. You can't really have an optimal solution by just changing the fd ratio. It is all about compromise. You have a TMG VIN correct? Contact TMG and check about the 6th gear change and if they can send the parts to you. If yes and if you trust someone to open your transmission, then you can also change to a 4.3 fd. You'll still have compromises in the other gears, but at least not that many compromises!
