Agreed. Just send out emails to the Internet sales desk and ask them to quote drive out price. All fees, taxes, nitrous fills whatever. All you care about is the bottom line.

Be sure your list of packages and optilns are the same.

And get your financing arranged before you go in. It's your ace in the hole.

Lastly, when you do visit the dealer finance guy , be prepared for the extended warranty pitch. Let him give it. Even ask a question.

Find out the total outlay for warranty. Nod your head a few times. Close your eyes as if in deep thought. Then open them and proclaim " thank you for this information but I will set aside funds during the 36 month warranty to self insure against car trouble"

Did that when I bought my GTI in 2009. Finance guy went nuts. Red in the face, slamming file cabinet drawers and desk drawers A real piece of work.
