9" wide +42 is probably the most extreme I've heard that fits stock suspension with appropriately sized (255) tires (see
http://www.ft86club.com/forums/showthread.php?t=42746). But I woudn't be surprised if 255s that run wider than normal rub.
Inner clearance difference of that compared to stock: (9"-7")/2 * (25.4mm/1") - (48-42) = 19.4mm closer to strut than stock
Same calculation for your wheel of interest: (9.5-7)/2 *(25.4/1) - (48-38) = 21.75mm closer to strut than stock than stock
That is 2.35mm more. That's really pushing it. I've never heard of anyone running a 9.5 wheel in front with stock suspension. Unless someone can say otherwise, I wouldn't risk it. Owners generally agree that 9" +38 is safe. Thats a 15.4mm delta from stock or a 6.35mm delta from the wheels you want.
