I used my Snap-on scanner to look at both intake cams at the same time.

On initial start up the cams are 8 degrees apart. Once the computer demands changes and you start driving they are pretty equal.

On the 2nd start up, the cams are 8 degrees different again,....and when you start driving it goes into a limp mode and you get the same P0016 code.

So does it make sense it would be the cam gear?


The cam gear and computer were changed 2 years and 20k miles ago.
