Some differences i noticed immediately upon starting to drive the my18 tS vs the my16 brz:

Handling. The ride feels quite a bit firmer with almost non existent body roll, and tighter turn in, very planted feel. The my16 never felt like this in stock form. The changes made in tS are very noticeable upon initial drive and comparable if not exceed my modified my16. The stiffer side wall/better compound tires and taller wheels (Michelin pilot sport 4 on 18x7 STi/enkie wheels) probably have a lot to do with this. Paired with the revised sachs damper, sti springs and draw stiffners the tS feels planted and inspires confidence leaps beyond the my16 brz.

Braking. Brembo brakes vs OEM my16 breaks, i think thats self explanatory. I have not had a chance to actually test these out, as i have not taken the tS to any event atm that would show their true capabilities and downfalls. However, stopping power is very noticeable yet very linear, not grabby at all.

Interior: Lots of alcantera! which i appreciate... not a huge fan of some of the red accents (would have preferred a more black interior), but is does look good. Infotainment is way better than the my base model my16, but I honestly don't use the features. Steering wheel controls, I could do without, they kind of get in the way. Cool STI logo on start up on cluster. Convenient oil temp gauge now on cluster, not offered on the my16 or below.

Engine: Really not a huge difference from the MY16, however it does feel a bit lighter if that makes since ( better idle, smoother acceleration, less vibration). Really looking forward to running a tune and e-85 as i really don't remember what the my16 felt like without it to be honest.

I hope this helps understand some differences and why I decided to swap to the tS. I am not by any means a car journalist, lol... I have owned several cars, have some track (mostly in my younger years) experience, and have completed several driving courses to include military counterterrorism defensive driving courses, so take what i have written as the point of view from a person with slight car knowledge and driving experience/skill level.
