It's been covered, but for daily driving only there's zero benefit to going wider than 225. Being 100% honest, there's no benefit to going wider than stock at all.

You'll get more grip from better tires in the stock width than from going wider. Wider will tramline worse, get worse fuel economy, and typically cost more.
