That's some great advice, not just with cars, but with many things in life. I feel lots of people rush into things without knowing what it is they need because they are so excited and regret it later. I gave this advice to my bother about his new house too. He wanted to rip down this wall, build this new feature, redo the kitchen this way, etc. I said its OK as it is right now. Do nothing for a year and get a feel for how it is to live in it. Then you can make an educated decision on how to spend your money because you know what works and doesn't work for you.
