I'm pretty sure they would bend backwards to deny anything. But then again they might help you out depending on your attitude.

That being said, our lugs nuts/studs are prone to strip. Chances are it just my have been its time.

Given the fact that you had to re tighten your endlink or attempted to, therein lies your problem
