IMO, even at their best they're somewhat overrated. Personally I went back to the Extreme Performance category for street usage. Actually on the FD I went to Nitto NT01 DOT race tires for street/track...

Anyway, me, for street only usage on 7", I'd be looking at Hankook RS4 in 215/45-17. In Max Perf category I'd look at Conti ExtremeContact Sport and B'stone S04 before PSS. Actually I wouldn't even be considering PSS...
MPSS supposedly excels in the wet as well as dry... How does the Extreme Performance tires you've tried handle in heavy rain/puddles? I'm tempted to just buy a 2nd set of cheap wheels + summer tires, and save my all-season tires for winter time.
