To be fair, in two national events, I've heard very little complaints from the people competing in the class.
The philosophy from SCCA on this is to take a "wait and see" attitude before allowing aftermarket endlinks. If the links aren't actually needed, then they don't want to raise the price of entry. *IF* they start breaking then the allowance will be made. I asked about a spare because I thought a $25 insurance policy was cheap and easy.
We all agree that the setup isn't optimal but we are all on the same setup. If you get frustrated about fixing setup issues one at at time I'm guessing STX is more for you. If you want to put the kit on and drive, come on out! I'll see you in Blytheville :-)
