I'd love to see it, but feel it's unlikely. Nissan is in Honda mode of 10 years ago. "Let's make boring shit that sells to everyone." Everyone's throwing money at crossovers and EVs, and the coupe market is a bit crowded. Even sales leaders like the Mustang and Camaro are down, when they're (numbers-wise) their best ever. A new Z would probably be a great car, but people would bitch that it's not under $30k ("It's hella expensive brah"), or under $25k ("Why not just get an EcoBoost 'stang?") or $20k ("Dude, for that price just buy a used turbo 86.") Kinda like the story of our cars.
